Two Vancouver women were arrested for allegedly exposing their genitals while twerking Monday afternoon in front of Beaverton, Ore.’s City Hall, and police say they were also in possession of drugs.
Christie Coura, 20, of Vancouver went to municipal court with two friends to pay a fine. After leaving the building at about 3:30 p.m., she and her friend Brittney Medak, 20, of Vancouver began twerking — a style of dancing — in front of the municipal court windows, according to court documents.
The Vancouver women, who reportedly were not wearing underwear, allegedly pulled up their dresses while dancing, exposing their genitals to court employees, according to court documents. Beaverton Police Department spokesman Mike Rowe said Medak also urinated in the parking lot between two cars.
A third woman from Portland, Leokham Yothsombath, 22, filmed the incident on her cellphone, Rowe said. After the group left in Medak’s Jeep, they were pulled over by a Beaverton police officer. After Medak said the officer could search her vehicle, he found drugs in each woman’s purse, along with $2,789 in cash in a makeup bag, according to court documents.
