Sandra King was located safe near the Washington School for the Deaf, 611 Grand Blvd. She was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Police are asking the public to help them find a missing Vancouver woman with dementia who left Safeway and didn’t return home.
Sandra Ruth King, 68, was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Sunday at her home in the 1000 block of West 36th Street in Vancouver’s Lincoln neighborhood, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
She said she was walking to Safeway, 3707 Main St., which is less than a mile away. According to the store’s surveillance footage, she left around 3:55 p.m. and started walking southwest through the parking lot pushing a metal cart.
