Local ninth- and 10th-graders are invited to attend the third annual Future Leaders of the World summit. The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 3 at Hudson’s Bay High School, 1601 E. McLoughlin Blvd., and includes leadership training as well as college and career exploration. Students must register by April 30. There is no charge to attend.
Parents are invited for lunch at 12:30 p.m. and an hourlong college financing presentation at 1:20 p.m.
Sponsors are GEAR UP, the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington, College Success Foundation and Vancouver Police Activities League.
