Willamette River spring chinook catch estimates

Multnomah Channel and Kelley Point to St. Johns Bridge boats — 3,906 anglers with 376 spring chinook kept and 52 released (88% mark rate). St. Johns Bridge to Lake Oswego-Oak Grove railroad bridge — 1,882 anglers with 203 kept and 33 released (86% mark rate). Lake Oswego-Oak Grove railroad bridge to Willamatte Falls deadline boats — 3,071 anglers with 612 kept and 87 released (88% mark rate). Lake Oswego-Oak Grove railroad bridge to Willamatte Falls deadline bank —617 rods with 11 kept and none released (100% mark rate).

Water clarity at the Morrison Bridge in Portland on Thursday afternoon was between 5 and 5.5 feet, but is expected to lessen as the runoff from Wednesday and Thursday moves downstream.
