A development site known as the Hazel Dell Public Market will host a garden art and plant sale as its inaugural event.
The Beltane Festival is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 3 at the future market site, 9807 N.E. Highway 99.
The event will include food, music, and garden- and art-related vendors. The festival’s name, Beltane, is derived from a Celtic celebration marking the arrival of summer, according to organizers.
