Amboy — The 26th annual membership meeting and anniversary potluck for the North Clark Historical Museum drew nearly 50 people in late February.

New officer candidates were introduced and later confirmed, including: Georgene Neal, president; Tom Reichstein, vice president; Judi Malinowski, secretary; George Weisenborn, treasurer. And, the 2014 Community Citizen Award was presented to Roger McDougall, a longtime volunteer firefighter with District 10 and president of the Territorial Park Committee.

“Our museum is representative of the community as a whole in acknowledging Roger’s volunteer work,” a museum newsletter says. “He is sincerely appreciated by everyone.”

The event also raised over $2,000 in auctions and other sales. The North Clark Historical Museum is at 21416 N.E. 399 St., Amboy. Visit http://www.lewisriver.com/amboy/museum or call 360-247-5800 to learn more.
