Eagle Scouts

Three Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District successfully passed their Eagle Scout board of review in March and have been advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout.

For his project, Eli Henderson of Boy Scout Varsity Team 381 collected used bicycles for the Community Cycling Center in Portland. A senior at CAM High School in Battle Ground, Eli, 15, is a son of Eric and Allison Henderson.

A senior at Vancouver’s Columbia River High School, Collin Mead of Boy Scout Troop 358 collected items for hygiene/first-aid kits for Vancouver’s Winter Hospitality Overflow. Collin, 18, is a son of Todd and Tami Mead.

Harrison Southwick of Boy Scout Venture Crew 761 painted a U.S. map on the playground at Battle Ground’s Maple Grove Elementary School for his project. Harrison, 17, is a son of Spencer and Renae Southwick. He is a senior at Prairie High School in Brush Prairie.
