• Columbia Credit Union has hired Connie Preece as vice president/branch manager of the Salmon Creek branch. Preece brings 23 years of industry experience in branch sales and service to the credit union. Prior to coming to Columbia she had a long career with a Utah credit union.n David Henderson has been named president of Prestige Care Inc. and Prestige Senior Living LLC, both based in Vancouver. Henderson joined Prestige in 2005, most recently serving as vice president and chief operating officer. He will continue as COO in addition to serving as president. Prestige operates more than 80 senior communities throughout the Western United States.
New business news
• Divine Haven, 106 W. Ninth St., behind Divine Consign, will sell new home accessories and gifts. This is a new venture of Gifts for our Community, a local nonprofit organization. Blakeley Buratto is the manager and the shop will be staffed with volunteers. All proceeds will be given to charity.

• New Tradition Homes has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a 2014 Energy Star Certified Homes Market leader. The award recognizes the contribution the company has made to energy-efficient construction and environmental protection by building 171 Energy Star-certified homes in 2013.
