Meetings requiring a quorum of the Board of Clark County Commissioners have been canceled next week due to a death in Commissioner Tom Mielke’s family.
A quorum requires the attendance of at least two commissioners, either in person or over the phone. There are currently only two commissioners on the board.
The canceled meetings include a regular meeting Wednesday, which was scheduled for 10 a.m., a Thursday morning board of health meeting, scheduled for 9 a.m., and a Thursday afternoon board time meeting, scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday’s hearings — on the county’s 2016 comprehensive plan update, urban reserves code and The Fountains developer agreement — will be rescheduled.
