Owners of the downtown Esther Short Building on Thursday announced plans to move six tenants and 60 employees into the vacant structure at 610 Esther St. that is owned by an LLC made up of local investors.
Tenants moving into the 33,000-square-foot building are Davidson & Associates Insurance Agency Inc., First Pacific Associates, LSW Architects, Robertson Engineering, White Stone Development and the nonprofit Community Foundation for Southwest Washington.
Remodeling work is underway and will include an exterior face-lift and the addition of an 875-square-foot community room. The building is owned by West Park Partners LLC, which purchased it for $3.2 million last month from the city of Vancouver.
