Tour Sacajawea and Fort Vancouver schools

Steve Webb, superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools, will lead a patron tour of district schools from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 2.

The tour includes Sacajawea Elementary School’s sustainability practices that earned a U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon award, followed by Fort Vancouver High School’s welding/fabrication, video production and culinary arts classes.

The tour will begin and end at the Bates Center for Educational Leadership, 2921 Falk Road. For $4, patrons may purchase a lunch prepared by students in the district’s award-winning culinary arts program.
