A Vancouver couple were arrested Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the human trafficking of a 17-year-old girl in Beaverton, Ore.
Detectives had been following the human trafficking suspects, identified as Davontie Donahue, 21, and his wife, Torri Donahue, 22, from the time they dropped off a 17-year-old girl at the Comfort Inn in Beaverton, according to Beaverton police.
When the detectives attempted to stop the suspects’ vehicle at about 2:45 p.m., the occupants refused to follow commands and fled in the vehicle, police said.
The vehicle then reportedly crashed into a detective’s car and a marked K-9 vehicle but kept driving. The vehicle then crashed into a privately owned vehicle before it left the road, crashing into a fence and landing in a drainage ditch, according to Beaverton police.
