o The Clark County commissioners seek to fill two seats on the Clark County Board of Equalization, one for a full position and the other for an on-call basis. Terms are for three years.
The board provides a citizen forum in which property owners can resolve issues of assessed valuation and exemptions. Members are paid $75 per day while attending meetings, which are usually Tuesday through Thursday during business hours.
Applicants should have knowledge of real and personal property, Clark County, property appraisal techniques and property tax law. Experience or education in the building trades is helpful.

Truck drivers and riders are needed, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday-Friday to drive a 20-foot box truck and pick up donations from grocery stores around Clark County. Drivers and riders must lift 40- to 50-pound boxes and fill out donation slips. A commercial driver’s license is not required for this work.
Sorters are needed, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday to sort produce for distribution. Training is required.
Groups of five to 25 people are needed to help repackage bulk food for distribution to local food sites.
