Farmers Market raises nearly $3,000 for Oso mudslide relief

Esther Short — Customers, vendors, volunteers and others working behind the scenes helped the Vancouver Farmers Market recently raise $2,848 in donations for the mudslide-disaster relief effort in Oso. The money went directly to efforts in Oso via the Mount Rainier chapter of the American Red Cross. Folks made donations in the parking lot and at the information and “shop & drop” booths.
