Some comments from the observers: Knoll: “This is some drought we’re in. I received 8.82″ of rain in March. Where I once lived in the Yakima Valley this was average annual rainfall. So enjoy whatever weather comes along for if it was all the same there wouldn’t be any weather watchers.”
Delany, “Our March rainfall was 17.10 inches. I think the drought is over, it keeps getting wetter each month. Hope that trend doesn’t continue.”
Dave Campbell, “The month of March – what can you usually say? Wind, showers and once in a while sunshine. Birds singing, frog choruses, buds swelling and a very sincere promise of spring! Well, this March, a little different. Rain, buckets of it, frog croakers and stranglers, visions of cats and dogs pouring down, squishy lawns that really need their first mowing, but wait, a hint of sun and not very much frost. Maybe April will be better?”
