Campaign Trail: Clark County treasurer

Clark County treasurer: Clark County Treasurer Doug Lasher announced Saturday he would seek re-election. Lasher, a Democrat, has served as the county’s treasurer for the past 30 years. In a news release announcing his candidacy, Lasher said he had worked with local and statewide legislators to advocate legislation to make it easier for taxpayers to pay property taxes. This was done by allowing electronic billing, a partial payment program, electronic payments and a delinquent property tax program.
