While serving a search warrant at a Vancouver residence associated with a Portland auto theft investigation, authorities found evidence of a methamphetamine lab and arrested two people inside.
Law enforcement from several agencies served the search warrant Tuesday at 516 W. Fourth Plain Blvd., in Vancouver’s Carter Park neighborhood, in connection with a large investigation by the Portland Police Bureau. That’s when investigators found items used for manufacturing methamphetamine, including glassware, a pot, acetone, beakers and heating instruments, according to documents filed in Clark County Superior Court.
Instructions for manufacturing the drug also were found in the house, according to court documents.
A large package of a white crystal substance, which field tested positive for amphetamine, was found in a dresser drawer, and additional packaging material and a scale were found inside the home’s master bedroom, according to court documents.
