Clackamas Community College scored runs in the first inning of each game and never trailed in a doubleheader sweep of Clark College on Wednesday.
The Cougars won the opener 7-0, and followed that with a 9-1 victory. Clark was limited to seven hits in the two games. Haley Hamilton’s two hits included a solo home run in the fourth inning of the second game, and Jazmyn Boyd-Clark also had a pair of hits.
Clark (5-8, 0-2 NWAACC) next plays a doubleheader Saturday at Lower Columbia College in Longview, with games at noon and 2 p.m.
