- AT 330 PM PDT AREAS OF MODERATE CONTINUE ACROSS THE PORTLAND AND VANCOUVER AREA THIS AFTERNOON. THERE HAVE BEEN QUITE A FEW REPORTS OF STANDING WATER ON STREETS AND ROADWAYS IN AREAS OF THE PORTLAND METRO AREA THIS AFTERNOON…MAIN DUE TO POOR DRAINAGE OR CLOGGED DRAINS.
- A STRONG FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING BRINGING ANOTHER SURGE OF HEAVY RAINFALL….SIMILAR TO WHAT THE AREA RECEIVED SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS EXPECTED WITH THE FRONT BETWEEN 6PM AND 9PM THIS EVENING. RAINFALL RATES OF TWO-TENTHS TO THREE-TENTHS OF AN INCH PER HOUR IS POSSIBLE AS THE FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING.
