Two people were stabbed, one fatally, during a disturbance early Saturday morning at this house at 8707 N.E. 89th Ave. in Vancouver.
One person was killed and two injured in and after a stabbing at a Four Corners house early Saturday.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were called at about 4 a.m. to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at 8707 N.E. 89th Ave., in the Sunnyside neighborhood northeast of Padden Parkway and Interstate 205.
When deputies arrived, they confronted a man outside the house. Police said he is a suspect in the stabbings. He ran inside, deputies pursued and a prolonged fight ensued, according to a CCSO press release.
Inside the house, deputies found a second man and a woman, both with stab wounds.

Authorities said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, but both men were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions were not reported.
The names and ages of the three people were not released, but Sgt. Duncan Hoss said that everyone involved is an adult. As of Saturday evening, the agency had not announced an arrest in the case.
One unnamed deputy was injured in the incident and was treated and released from a local hospital.
Hoss said that no guns were fired, but would not say if deputies deployed their Tasers.
Detectives stayed on scene throughout the day Saturday, working to determine what happened during the pre-dawn altercation. The front window of the two-story house was broken out, as was the back window of an SUV parked in the driveway. Part of the residential street was blocked off to traffic while detectives collected evidence.
Vlad Kibukevich, 21, was sleeping in his house across the street when, he said, he awoke to the sound of screaming.
“I heard glass breaking and climbed out of the window to the roof,” he said. He couldn’t see much in the darkness, but soon saw patrol vehicles swarm the suburban neighborhood.
“I wasn’t scared … (but) it is crazy stuff,” he said. “This is a druggie house. It’s been busted a few times.”
The house is owned by John McKee and Alisha Lowe, according to Clark County property records, and it was the subject of a drug raid this year at which McKee and two other people were arrested. Investigators with the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force arranged to purchase drugs from the location and served two search warrants on Feb. 28.
During that search, law enforcement seized heroin, methamphetamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, morphine, ecstasy, fentanyl, suboxone, dilaudid, oxycodone, adderall, methadone and lidocaine.
The case resulted in the arrest of McKee, 27, on suspicion of delivering a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possessing a controlled substance.
Another resident, Lauren A. Marshall, 25, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possessing a controlled substance.
Christopher D. Nichols, 49, of Vancouver was visiting the house at the time of the search warrant. He had been arrested and booked in jail on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
Around the time of the arrests, Cmdr. Mike Cooke said: “The list of drugs seized really speaks to the level of addiction and suffering that’s impacting families all over Clark County. Drug addiction is not a joke; families and neighborhoods suffer when people traffic these substances.”
Hoss said he did not know if drugs were involved in the Saturday morning altercation. It was not disclosed if any of the people involved in the drug bust were involved in the stabbing Saturday.
Baba Toure, 19, who lives across the street from the house, said he heard the commotion but didn’t know how serious the incident was until later that day.
“I’m from Atlanta, so I’m used to this,” he said. But he said he was surprised that someone was killed in a well-kept neighborhood in quiet suburbia.
“I wouldn’t expect it at all out of this kind of neighborhood,” he said.
Northeast 89th Avenue was blocked off at Northeast 88th Street Saturday while investigators collected evidence of a fatal stabbing. A deputy with the Clark County Sheriff's Office was treated and released from an area hospital after an altercation with a male suspect.
