Alissa Pudlitzke of Camas girls cross country was voted The Columbian’s high school fall athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 21.
Pudlitzke collected 44 percent of the 1,329 votes cast by fans to beat out Neesha Godbole of Mountain View girls soccer, who had 30 percent.
Pudlitzke won the race on the easy course at Three-Course Challenge in Seaside, Ore., helping the Papermakers finish third in the top division.
The other nominees were Morgan Micheletti of La Center volleyball, Thanh Vo of Hudson’s Bay tennis and Eddie Abellar of Union golf.
