Brian Williams scored a hat trick Tuesday to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 6-2 Western Hockey League victory over the Portland Winterhawks.
Philip Tot, Lucas Nickles and Connor Rankin also scored for the Americans (1-2-0-0), who tallied the game’s first two goals and led 4-2 after one period.
Taylor Leier and Alex Schoenborn scored for the Winterhawks (1-1-0-1).
