A major thoroughfare in east Vancouver was blocked Monday afternoon while emergency responders cleared a four-vehicle collision.

The crash at Southeast First Street and Northeast 192nd Avenue was reported at 12:27 p.m. A car reportedly ran a red light, causing a T-bone collision, and then hit two other cars, said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.

Three of the four vehicles were towed.

Two ambulances were sent to the site and drove patients to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, but no life-threatening injuries were reported, Kapp said.

The road was blocked for about 45 minutes between Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast First Street, and C-Tran buses were temporarily rerouted.

Names of drivers were not released.
