DAVIS, Calif. — DJ Adams rushed for 208 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead Portland State over UC Davis 41-10 Saturday night.

Adams rushed 14 times while averaging nearly 15 yards per carry. He continued his trend of one touchdown every 10 carries, and his 85 and 27-yard TDs helped Portland State (3-1) to a 14-7 halftime lead. Adams added a 50-yard carry that led to a Kieran McDonagh 2-yard touchdown run, giving PSU a 27-7 third quarter lead.

McDonagh, a Skyview High grad, accounted for four touchdowns, two rushing and two passing, but had a season-high three interceptions. His first interception led to the Aggies (0-4) only touchdown, a 7-yard run by Gabe Manzanares to make it 7-7 in the second quarter.

Jimmy Laughrea was 20 of 30 for 180 yards to lead UC Davis. The Aggies have scored just four touchdowns in as many games and are off to their worst start since 1965.
