Day of Remembrance planned for Wednesday in Woodland

The public is invited to celebrate the lives of deceased loved ones at the National Day of Remembrance event scheduled for Wednesday.

The Survivors of Murder and Vehicular Homicide Victims Support Group is hosting the event, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Hoffman Plaza in Woodland, at Horseshoe Lake across from the fire department.

The event will include guest speakers, music and candle lighting. Candles and refreshments will be provided.
