UPDATE: Police say Andrew Van Siclen returned home this afternoon and is with family members. The original story is below.
Vancouver police are searching for an elderly man, who’s been missing since yesterday.
Andrew Van Siclen, 77, was last seen around 9:15 p.m. Monday, going to Fred Meyer with a black miniature poodle. He was driving his silver 2004 Mercury Marquis.
His family reported him missing about two hours later because he has a medical condition that alters his mental state and requires medication, said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.
Police believe he purchased something around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at a Chevron station in Portland on Northwest Lovejoy Street and Northwest 21st Street.
