A truck lost its load of lumber around noontime Thursday, blocking all three lanes of Interstate 5 southbound just south of the Gee Creek rest area.
The incident was reported to Washington State Patrol and the Washington State Department of Transportation around 11:50 a.m. No collisions resulted from the spilled wood, according to State Patrol Trooper Stephen Robley. The timber was removed from the roadway.
