The “Bridging the Dementia Communication Gap” workshop begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Vancouver Seventh Day Adventist Community Church, 9711 N.E. St. John’s Road. The free event includes a meal.

Presenter Joyce Beedle is the president of Alzheimer’s Consulting Services. She’s been working in dementia care since 1979.
