Michael Cherney, 52, of Battle Ground was in satisfactory condition Sunday night at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.
He crashed his 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle Saturday afternoon on Interstate 205.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on I-205 north at Milepost 30, which is near the exit for state Highway 500 in Vancouver.
Cherney lost control of the motorcycle when he tried to brake for traffic, according to police. The motorcycle came to rest in the roadway.
Police cited Cherney for driving too fast for the conditions.
