A WSP bulletins said the crash occurred about 7:30 p.m. when motorcyclist Pavel N. Leksunkin, 27, attempted to pass a 1999 Plymouth Voyager van on the right just as the its driver, Jackoline L. Hilby, 43, was attempting to merge on the transition from southbound I-205 to eastbound Highway 500.

Both Hilby and Leksunkin, who was riding a 2007 Triumph Daytona 650 motorcycle, were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Hilby was no longer in hospital as of Saturday evening. Information on Leksunkin’s condition was not available.
