Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 7.

NATE BEASLEY, CAMAS: The senior caught three passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 41 yards on 11 carries and another two TDs in Camas’ win over Jesuit.

JONATHAN BRANSON, COLUMBIA RIVER: The senior quarterback passed for 122 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the Chieftains’ 33-21 win over Heritage.

REY GREEN, EVERGREEN: Green rushed for 179 yards on seven carries and one touchdown and caught three passes for 48 yards and another TD in Evergreen’s 56-20 win over Fort Vancouver.

DALLAS GOODPASTER, PRAIRIE: The sophomore rushed for 173 yards on 22 carries, including the clinching 35-yard TD run in the Falcons’ 31-17 win over Skyview.

THOMAS LAMPKIN, UNION: The junior had a 55-yard TD reception, a 14-yard TD run and threw a 44-yard TD pass in Union’s win over Mountain View. He also had a 52-yard interception return and a 35-yard punt return.
