Despite the Trico League-opening loss at Castle Rock, Seton Catholic coach Dan Chase said his team show vast improvement from last season.

“The kids came out and played hard,” he said. “Our defense did a great job and the offense picked it up in the second half.”

Will Noce-Sheldon connected with Craig Boyle on a 17-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for the Cougars’ points.
