Home Instead Senior Care is hosting a free Alzheimer’s CARE training workshop in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Month.
The session begins at 9 a.m. Sept. 28 at Home Instead Senior Care, 9120 N.E. Vancouver Loop, No. 240, in Vancouver. All Clark County families are invited to attend the free event.
The CARE program incorporates a hands-on approach to help families deal with behavioral changes associated with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. Program experts will teach caregivers how to manage behaviors, encourage engagement and care for themselves while caring for their loved ones.
