It took less than a month to sell the latest home built by Skills Center students. Just last month, students completed the home at 6920 N.E. 104th Way, near 72nd Avenue.

Built by students in the Skills Center construction technology class during the 2012-13 school year, the home features four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, granite counters, custom cabinets and laminate flooring.

For the fourth year, local homebuilder Ott Gaither provided the house plan, lot and financing. Gaither Homes will donate to the Skills Center Foundation any profit above the cost of building and selling the home.

The Construction Technology program at the Skills Center began in the mid-1990s.
