Free counseling clinic now open in Woodland

Lower Columbia Mental Health Center is opening a free counseling clinic in Woodland.

The Free Counseling Clinic is open to residents of Cowlitz, Clark and Skamania counties.

The clinic is at 1251 Lewis River Road, Suite A, in Woodland. Customers may walk in during business hours — 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays — or call 360-225-9605 to schedule an appointment.

Therapists provide all counseling, as well as assistance accessing additional services and benefits, including the newly expanded Medicaid program.

The Free Counseling Clinic is also available in Longview, 1952 Ninth Ave., from 2 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays. The Longview clinic phone number is 360-562-1133.

The free clinic is a service of Cowlitz County Guidance Association.
