Alexa Efraimson’s cross country victory at the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Oct. 5 brought her some fame and some trouble.
As documented this past week on these pages, the trouble came from whether or not participating in the collegiate race would hurt her high school eligibility. The fame portion of Efraimson’s running accomplishments comes Monday when Sports Illustrated hits the newsstands. Efraimson is among the “Faces in the Crowd” section of magazine, which highlights outstanding amateur athletes across the country.
