Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 25.

Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

JASON BRACKEN, PRAIRIE: Bracken intercepted two passes, including one he returned 63 yards for a TD. He had 38 yard TD run and caught four passes for 50 yards in a win over Fort Vancouver.

NOLAN HENRY, UNION: Henry completed 7 of 10 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in Union’s win over Evergreen.

GARRETT JONES, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Jones intercepted a pass on the first play from scrimmage, returned a fumble 62 yards for a touchdown and caught two passes for 30 yards in the Thunder’s win over Kelso.

ZAC SHOMLER, SKYVIEW: With the Storm’s top rusher out, Shomler led the Skyview passing attack with 302 yards on 16-of-27 passing and five touchdowns in a key win over Battle Ground.

BRANDON VAN PELT, STEVENSON: Van Pelt completed 16 of 38 passes for 402 yards and two touchdowns and he rushed for 52 yards and a TD in a loss at Rochester.
