Class 2B football: King’s Way Christian 63, Lake Quinault 48

A big second quarter helped lift King’s Way Christian past Lake Quinault in a non-league 8-man game.

King’s Way (8-0) scored four touchdowns in the second quarter, while holding Lake Quinault to one.

Jay Becker rushed for two scores and threw for another in the quarter. He finished with 226 yards rushing and two TD passes in the game.

Dustin Johnson threw two TD passes for King’s Way, both to Austin Benton in the fourth quarter. Anthony Huser also scored twice.
