Meteorologists from across the Northwest will gather in Portland this Saturday for a popular conference focusing on what’s in store for this winter.
The 21st annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference, hosted by the Oregon chapter of the American Meteorological Society, will include the prognostications of several forecasters. It will also include other discussion topics and a raffle.
The event is free and open to the public, and has drawn large crowds in past years. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to be assured a seat.
The conference begins at 10 a.m. Saturday in the main auditorium of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, 1945 S.E. Water Ave. in Portland.
