A free workshop hosted by the city of Vancouver next week will focus on how to recognize and manage hazardous trees.
The workshop, part of the city urban forestry department’s “TreeTalk” series, will teach participants how to identify potential hazards in their trees. Certified arborists and tree risk assessors will help residents learn how to create a safer environment and reduce liability with better tree care, according to the city.
The one-hour workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way in Vancouver.
