Northwest Natural Gas Co. has developed an online tool that allows users to go on a computer, smartphone, or tablet to find out if they can get natural gas service to their home. The tool eliminates the need to contact the gas company during working hours or fill out an online form that requires a wait for a reply.
To use the tool, visit https://www.nwnatural.com/ConnectToGas/Location. The tool will ask a few questions. Users will then be told whether natural gas service is available and what it costs; whether there are special circumstances that require personal contact; or whether no service is available.
