Camas offensive lineman Drew Clarkson told Oregon State football officials that he intends to sign with the Beavers, according to online reports late Wednesday.
Clarkson was featured in The Columbian in August detailing his battle with testicular cancer. After missing several games to open this season with a bad hamstring, Clarkson returned to the field in Week 4. Camas is the top-ranked Class 4A team in Washington.
Clarkson had offers from California, Washington State, and Washington, among others. In fact, he received some his scholarship offers during chemotherapy treatment sessions this summer.
Calls to Clarkson from The Columbian were not immediately returned.
