The Vancouver Barracks Military Association will host a Halloween costume ball fundraiser on Oct. 19.
The child-friendly event will help the group build a military history museum in Vancouver. It includes door prizes, costume contests, raffles, a silent auction and a ghost talk by historian Jeff Davis.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. The event will be from 6 to 10 p.m. at Camp Hathaway Chapel, 2700 E. 28th St.
