Hazel Dell — September’s hard rains drove many inside for cover, but not one Hazel Dell 2-year-old who used the opportunity to make some new slimy friends. Kayte Kramer grabbed her camera when she saw her son Layne Thomas Kramer playing with a handful of worms in her backyard on Sept. 30. “His face is priceless,” she said. “He has three older brothers; they’re always outside rain or shine.”
