Nominees for high school fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 5. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian.

MONICA BOTTELBERGHE, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS SWIMMING: After getting her season off to a late start, Bottelberghe posted state-meet qualifying times in winning the 200 freestyle (1:57.57) and 100 freestyle (54.06).

KELSEY BROWN, SKYVIEW VOLLEYBALL: Brown had 31 assists, 20 digs and five kills in helping Skyview open 4A Greater St. Helens League play 2-0.

BRAEDEN CAMPBELL, CAMAS BOYS GOLF: Campbell needed only nine putts to get through a nine-hole round, shooting a 5-under 31 at Camas Meadows.

ALEXIS FULLER, UNION GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Fuller won the top flight at the Sunfair Invitational in Yakima, winning in a time of 17:58.

RYLEE SEEKINS, HOCKINSON GIRLS SOCCER: Seekins had two goals and an assist as the Hawks opened 2A Greater St. Helens League play with a pair of wins.
