• Vancouver-based Riverview Community Bank has announced the promotions of five employee-owners, as voted by its board of directors. Jennifer Konopasek, retail service coordinator, and David Lam, controller, have each been elevated to senior vice president. Wendy Beck, assistant controller and item processing supervisor, and Lisa Stapleton, special assets officer, have been promoted to vice presidents. Christina Mulholland, internal auditor, has been named assistant vice president.
• The board of directors of Vancouver’s Downtown Association recently voted to add Michael Lary to their board. Lary, The Source Climbing Center’s managing partner, has a background in product and Web design.
• Norman Harker was elected president of the Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts. Harker is the current president of the Clark Regional Wastewater District board of commissioners in Clark County.
• Richard Armstrong, who has been with Columbia Machine Inc., for 12 years and has spent the past eight years as president of the palletizer division, will become president of the company’s concrete products division.
