Seton Catholic started out strong against Toledo, building a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, but ultimately came out on the short end.
Seton head coach Dan Chase said he was proud of his team’s enthusiasm and the fire with which they took the field in the first half.
“We just need to learn how to sustain that through four quarters,” he said.
Seton quarterback Will Noce-Sheldon did his best to carry the team to victory, throwing for 125 yards and rushing for 76, and scoring twice. A reception by Dylan Cole and a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter accounted for the final margin.
