1B football: King’s Way Christian 78, Wishkah Valley 70, OT

Josiah Tully caught six touchdown passes from Jay Becker, who also had two rushing TDs and a late game-tying 80-yard TD as King’s Way Christian rallied from an early deficit to beat visiting Wishkah Valley in a non-league Class 2B eight-man game.

Becker’s kickoff return tied the game at 70-70 with about four minutes to play. King’s Way (5-0) was down 24-8 after the first quarter.

In the overtime, Tully, who had seven receptions for 215 yards, caught the go-ahead TD pass from Becker. Then on Wishkah Valley fumbled its possession, sealing King’s Way’s victory.
