Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts confirmed Friday it plans to open a second Clark County store in February on the west side of town in the Totem Pole Shopping Center on the northeast corner of Northeast Highway 99 and 78th Street in Hazel Dell.
The new store at 7907 N.E. Highway 99 will offer convenience to its area customers, company spokesman Joe Smith said in an email. It will employ at least five full-time management staff and 20 part time workers and carry crafting and home decor items, along with fabrics and notions.
The Hudson, Ohio-based retailer operates an established Vancouver location at 11505 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., along with more than 750 stores across the nation. Smith said hiring information and store updates will be posted at www.joann.com/vancouver.
