A free Community Health & Safety Fair presented by the Pleasant Valley PTA is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Valley Campus, 14320 N.E. 50th Ave., Vancouver.
The event’s purpose is to educate Clark County residents about all aspects of keeping kids and families safe and connecting them to health and safety resources. Fire trucks, police cars, SWAT, K-9, activities, free child ID kits and more will be available.
Participating agencies include law enforcement agencies, North Star Resource Center, Prevent!, Youth Suicide Prevention Program, American Red Cross, Safe Kids Worldwide and North County Food Bank. The food bank will be collecting canned food.
